Still Producing After 2,000 Years

Permaculture expert Geoff Lawton take us on a virtual tour of a 2,000 year old food forest in Morocco.

This is the real definition of oasis. Imagine coming across this lush green growth in the middle of the desert! Imagine walking along and helping yourself to date palms, olives, figs, pomegranates, guavas, citrus, mulberry, tamarind, carob, bananas, quince and more.

This is still stable after 2,000 years. The food grows with low outputs and as we can see, an explosion of diverse outputs.
