Share The Stories Of Your Seeds

"One seed will make a lot of food. You don't need a lot of land. All of you who have come from the suburbs: Tear up your lawns. Plant food."

So says one occupier from the Farmers March on December 4th 2011 in New York, part of the Occupy Wall Street movement. This march took major steps toward raising awareness about Big Ag, food policy and the local food movement. Seed swapping was part of the event.

Another passionately declares: "Farmers have been saving seeds for thousands of years. Seeds are a gift from the earth. Seeds are gifts from our ancestors. We do not need to create seeds in labs."

Amen!
