"Frackcidents" Waiting To Happen

We know fracking causes all kinds of destruction to the environment and the groundwater. Now we are beginning to get the seismological data to put it all together, and see the correlation between fracking sites and tremors.

A new report by the British Columbia Oil and Gas Commission says that the fracking fluid that's injected into the rocks flows into preexisting faults and that can cause these faults to slip, thus creating an earthquake.

Truthout's Mike Ludwig explains how science has linked the drilling to a disturbing amount of new tremors.
