Fatty Acids: Allow You To Think And Feel

It is widely accepted now that the cholesterol scare of the 1970 and 80s was nothing but a scam to market trans-fats and cholesterol drugs, so called statins.

Fat is not bad for you. Only unnatural fat, manufactured fat, (transfats) are bad for you. Other fats, found in fish, meats, nuts, oils, avocados and more, are not only good for you, they are essential for life.

As this video from Stacey Thompson simply describes, we NEED fat, to protect our cells and our brains, to regulate serotonin, make us feel good, and help our bodies know when we are satisfied and can stop eating. All these processes of the body's natural design were thrown off when people were persuaded to go "low fat" in their food selections. Fat will never make you fat, it will, astoundingly, have the opposite effect.

Carbs which convert to sugar, WILL make you fat, because they will cause your insulin to spike and this will make you think you are still hungry, as you try to balance your blood sugar levels (by eating more carbs.)

According to this report from The Franklin Institute:

"Fatty acids from fats are what your brain uses to create the specialized cells that allow you to think and feel."

Imagine that. "...allow you to think and feel."

How much does the anti-fat campaign have to do with the epidemic of depression, anxiety, mania, ADD and more that has plagued America over the past 20-30 years, causing explosive rises in prescription drug dependencies?

Well, about two thirds of your brain is composed of fats. In recent years, even NIH scientists admitted (quietly) that deficiency in fatty acids is a major contributing factor in depression.

Now that all sides agree, it's time to break out the butter, olive oil, fatty fish, avocados, whole milk, eggs, and anything else that is loaded with good fats.

Feed your brain, change your life!
