If Land Becomes Uninhabitable...

Jacque Fresco is an American self-educated structural designer, architectural designer, philosopher of science, concept artist, educator and futurist.

He is also the founder of The Venus Project, featured prominently in the documentary film Zeitgeist: Addendum.

There is much more to his vision for the future than these space age structures, such as his theory that we can strive towards a "resource based economy" that would replace the money based system. But this video focuses on the concrete aspects of his futuristic design for cities to save civilization.

Or should we say the "memory metal" aspects? A high tech material called "memory metal" can contort into any shape and snaps back into its original size and form when exposed to a certain temperature. Buildings could be made out of this, that would compress for shipping and then "self erect" when they were in place, instead of having to build them there - and with no help from humans!

The thing is -- he believes we will need to create these structures for life on the sea!

Enjoy his mesmerizing vision for the new cities, and welcome to the Future!
