If You Can Do It Here You Can Do It Anywhere

This might be one of the last places you would expect to see a thriving community garden. Right in the city of Las Vegas, the Tonopah Community Garden is growing food for members of the community and even for the local organic food market.

This is Las Vegas' first and only urban farm, opened in March 2010.

"Together We Can" is a community-based nonprofit organization in Las Vegas. Utilizing over four acres of vacant property near downtown, they operate the Tonopah Community Garden.

This garden even has a system in place whereby residents can pay per month for a plot and just come pick up the produce! The raised bed, the soil, the water, the labor and the love are all included!

As mentioned several times in the video, if you can do it here you can do it anywhere!
